Decide to elevate

Good morning beautiful! When you decide to elevate, there’s a certain amount of comfort that you naturally have to give up. You just can’t become what God has laid on your heart by continuing to do the same comfortable things. To experience elevation, you’ve got to be willing to experience change!

3 Ways to prepare for elevation:
1. Envision the outcome your heart desires: Instead of just hoping you make it through, decide what you really would like to see as a result of elevation in that area of your life. Habakkuk 2:2
2. Focus on the truth of God’s Word: Naturally, people and things from where you are right now won’t necessarily be in favor of you moving/leaving/elevating. Despite what people think, the truth is in the Word of God, and that’s what you’ve got to focus on. John 14:6
3. Move: Start making changes by moving in the direction of what you’ve envisioned. It doesn’t matter if it’s exactly perfect, what matters is MOVEMENT. You’re signaling to God that you have faith, and when you have faith, you’ll start seeing the movement of God that’s been there the entire time. 2 Corinthians 5:7

You were made for elevation. You were born for elevation…just like we see over and over again in the word in the life of Jesus. Follow His example – and experience elevation.

Foundational Scripture for Today: “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give. You the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
