God Will Write Your Story

Good morning Beautiful!  Knowing that God will write your story relieves pressure from you, as walking out a Christian life every day isn’t easy. You have good days and bad days, just like everyone else. Some days are glorious and on other days, you wonder if you will make it. You may have even wondered if your story to this point has had too many mistakes and too many bad choices to ever turn out well.  You may feel that God could never forgive the things you may have done in your past.

I would like to share with you that God knew before you were brought into existence, everything that you would ever struggle with and every decision you would make.  He knew in advance that He would craft a plan for your life to bring you into a future that would be greater than your past.

As you start to walk in this knowledge, you’ll probably encounter people who knew you “way back when.”  They’ll discount you because they witnessed your past.  The difference is that the point at which “they” put a period on your life, God places a comma and a “but”! “They” told you it would never work, that you wouldn’t be successful, that you would never recover from your choices…but God! “They” didn’t believe in you, denied your authenticity, walked out on you…but God!

Fortunately, “they” don’t determine how your life story will read. You do, by relinquishing the need to know the “how” and simply giving your life to Him and following Him daily.  God will make your latter greater than your former days, and He will write the perfect story, just for you.

Foundational Scripture for Today: “The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former, says the LORD of hosts. And in this place I will give peace, declares the LORD of hosts.’” – Haggai 2:9
